Great free campsite East Coast Flinders Island, observe many types of wildlife and especially at dawn and dusk with Wallabies, Cape Barren Geese, many reptiles (take care). No suitable large motorhomes or caravans, the road to the Patriarchs Wildlife Sanctuary is small, narrow, and often in poor condition. The maximum stay is 3 nights and there are no charges for camping at Patriarchs, so if you are camping at this site please keep it clean and tidy - donations are appreciated. Camping Patriarch Wildlife Sanctuary, the Patriarch campground is located on the east coast of Flinders Island located on Lees Road, Lackrana between Middle and South Patriarch. The campground at Patriarchs is suitable for tent-based camping, however, it isn’t really recommended, it is better if you have a small campervan.
