The free camping area Lagoons Beach Conservation Area, St Marys East Coast Tasmania is situated east of the township of St Marys and North on the A3 Highway. Visitors to reserves on Tasmania's East Coast can enjoy a range of activities including bushwalking, swimming, fishing, boating, and camping. Horse riding is permitted in some areas and a 4WD area has been set aside at Peron Dunes. Campsites vary from those with amenities to secluded natural sites. Boat ramps, picnic tables, and fireplaces are provided at various locations. This coastal location offers visitors to the area opportunities for fishing, swimming, and other water sports. The camping area is set amongst native flora setting shaded by eucalypts. There is a 4 week camping time limit and only basic toilet facilities. This area offers one of the best surf fishing areas for the Australian Salmon, being plentiful in the 2+ kilogram range in this area. You will need to carry your own water and firewood. This campsite is suitable for campervans, motorhomes, caravans. The Lagoons Beach free camping area St Marys is signposted from the A3 Highways. You will find access tracks 2 kilometres and 2.5 kilometres north of the A3 and A4 junctions. This free camping area offers spacious areas stretching for a total of 700 metres. There are both shaded and good grassed spots to choose from.     STAY THERE MANY TIME OVER MANY YEARS VERY GOOD it gets packed out smome times toilets need to be cleaned or emptied more often but a great place
