Freycinet Campgrounds

Listing Details

The campgrounds within Freycinet National Park that you can book - Richardsons Beach, Ranger Creek, Honeymoon Bay and those that you can't - Friendly Beaches and River & Rocks, fill up extremely quickly especially from mid-December until the first week of February and again at Easter. However, there are a couple of other options surrounding the national park that you can try and that offer alternative camping options. While the campsites below are still close to all of the attractions surrounding Coles Bay, they’re technically all out of the Freycinet National Park so no park fees apply to them. However, you will need a valid national Parks Pass if you are planning to enter any part of the Freycinet National Park, such as Wineglass Bay or The Hazards.

Freycinet Golf Club Campground

Please also note there is no water or power at campsite, but potable water and a dump point is available in nearby Coles Bay. This RV Friendly stop Coles bay is within walking distance to the beaches at Swanwick and the jetty where the fishing is good. There is a large playground around the corner to keep the children entertained and a great little walking area across the road and around a small dam. Bookings are not possible - freycinetgc@gmail.com
