Free Camping Big Lagoon View 4WD Track, Bay of Fires close to the small East Coast town of Binalong Bay, and a short drive from St Helens. Camping Big Lagoon, Bay of Fires Conservation Area – this is a large open space with lagoon frontage on level but sandy sites. Please note this is a 4WD only accessible campground Bay of Fires, it is not suitable for caravans, motorhomes or campervans. To access, there is a steep incline of app. 30 metres on sandy ground to access the campground. This campground Bay of Fires is NOT suitable for camper trailers or campervans that aren’t 4WD off-road specific vehicles, there are other campgrounds further up that are suited to small off-road camper trailers. There are no facilities at the Big Lagoon View 4WD camping area Bay of Fires. All campers must be fully self-sufficient and carry all food and water, plus camping toilet. Please take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Subject to any local fire restrictions, firepots and campfires are permitted, however you must carry all your own firewood. The maximum stay is four weeks – dogs on leads at all times, and kept under control, are permitted.
