Lake Burbury is popular with local fishermen, being located on the edge of Tasmania's World Heritage Wilderness Area. Lake Burbury is located a 15 minute drive east of Queenstown. You can fish for the elusive Tasmanian wild trout, with both brown and rainbow trout in abundance however licenses are required and trout fishing is seasonal.

Lake Burbury is located east of Queenstown, on Tasmania's West Coast. It is a popular lake for both fishing and water sports, including kayaking and canoeing.

The Lake Burbury Camping area is signposted from the A10 and is 21 kilometres East of Queenstown and 85 kms from Derwent Bridge. Access to the camping ground is app. 650 metres from the turnoff. You will find 2 grassed camping areas off to the side of the road; further along you will find a parking area.

The campsite Lake Burbury is suitable for larger caravans, campervans or motorhomes.

Ideally suited for an overnight stay; as there are limited facilities.
