Approximately 17 kilometres north of the Melton Mowbray turnoff (off the A5) you will find a large shady roadshide parking area on the right hand side of the road. There are no facilities or amenities, but it is a good spot to park your caravan, campervan or motorhome overnight. If coming from the other direction, this campground Bothwell is 2.5 ks South of Bothwell.

Be aware this location is right beside the road, and whilst the road does not carry much traffic it may be noist at times.

Bothwell is a small town with a population of just over 300 people situated in central Tasmania on the River Clyde. It is well known for hunting, fishing and being a lake district.
