Camping Bothwell central highlands tasmania
There are 2 camping areas at Bothwell; one being the Bothwell Caravan Park where you will find powered and unpowered sites together with toilets, showers and a laundry. The second is located approximately 17 kilometres north of the Melton Mowbray turnoff (off the A5) where you will find a large shady roadside parking area on the right hand side of the road. There are no facilities or amenities, but this is a good spot to park your caravan, campervan or motorhome overnight. If coming from the other direction, this campground Bothwell is 2.5 kms south of Bothwell. Be aware this location is right beside the road, and whilst the road does not carry much traffic it may be noisy at times. You can also camp at the Bothwell Caravan Park, which is small but nicely located and offering good facilities of toilets, showers and a laundry. There is a nice park immediately opposite where you will find a barbecue and picnic tables. Dogs are OK at the camping area, but are not allowed in the park. There is also visitor information at the park.
