Mole Creek camping ground is located at Mole Creek, app. 23 kilometres west of the larger town of Deloraine and on the B12 Road. Mole Creek is a popular base to explore a number of activities in this region such as bushwalking, caving, fishing, and rock climbing. The King Solomon Caves and Marakoopa Caves are popular tourist attractions in this region. Mole Creek is a small rural town with a population of app. 300 people. The camping area at Mole Creek offers 20 campsites and 20 powered sites with laundry facilities. It is a flat area beside Sassafras Creek and completely grassed with fires allowed along the creekside (fire warnings permitting). The Mole Creek camping area is pet friendly, however, pets must be kept under control at all times. Suitable caravans, campervans, motorhomes. To access the campground at Mole Creek, take the signposted access at the Junction of the C137 and B12 roads, app, 3 kilometres west of Mole Creek. This campsite is located by a small creek and offers coin-operated hot showers. Firewood is supplied - note that fires are only allowed near the creek. This campground Mole Creek is fully grassed and is pet friendly, located just 4 kilometres from Mole Creek on the way to Sheffield. The camping area Mole Creek is close to the Caves and Walls of Jerusalem being app. 1-hours drive from Launceston. Facilities include an amenities block with hot showers and flushing toilets, a campers kitchen, a washing machine and dryer and free WiFi.
