Camping Ouse Bethune Park - Camping Tasmania

Free camping located before Ouse, Central Highlands of Tasmania close to New Norfolk, Tarraleah, Wayatinah and on the way to Lake St Clair and the West Coast of Tasmania. This camping area at Bethune Park Ouse is suitable for all forms of camping, but has limited facilities (flushing toilets). Pets are OK if kept on a lead and under control at all times. Please note it can get very cold during Winter months, with snow possible making camping in tents potentially challenging. There are several large well-grassed camping spots which are suitable for tents. The free campground at Bethune Park Ouse offers lovely views of the lake, rubbish bins, with fires allowed (subject to seasonal restrictions). This site is 2WD accessible, and is divided into two sections – top and bottom of a hill. See also:
