Bicheno Bush Camp is located close to Bicheno on Tasmania’s sunny East Coast. Bicheno Bush Camp is a hosted stay through Hipcamp; the following information is provided by the Host regarding their campground. Bicheno Bush Camp is located a short 5km drive from the Bicheno town centre, and 5km from the Douglas Apsley National Park and 2km from the popular Dennison beaches. The camping space is easy to access, with flat ground and some trees for shade. There are lots of Wallabies and natural wildlife. Fires are permitted with the hosts happy to interact with you if this is your preference (subject to local fire restrictions). There are no amenities on site meaning that all campers must be self-contained (Recreational Vehicles only – no tents) and leave no trace. Pets are not permitted. Campers are welcome to pick their own spot on the 8-acre property.  Bicheno is a family seaside holiday town with lots of activities to do and things to see with great dining options. For self contained RVs, this is a great location and offers excellent fishing and close to wildlife. There’s plenty to do on dry land, with popular penguin tours that let you get up close to fairy penguins at dusk and scenic walks to Rocking Rock, the Blowhole and along the sandbar to Diamond Island Nature Reserve. DOGS are not permitted due to the sensitive wildlife in the area.
