Description
This free overnight roadside stop at Nabowla near Scottsdale in North East Tasmania is for fully self-contained vehicles only. The campsite is located near the former Blumont railway siding on the old North-East Railway. Historically, the siding was used for loading timber and livestock from the surrounding forests and farms. If you’re visiting the North East if Tassie in a self-contained caravan or motorhome and enjoy peaceful bush camps, this can make a good overnight stop. However, don’t expect any campground amenities—it’s more of a roadside bush camp than a developed camping area.
