Cluny Dam and the Repulse Dam are small, but typical Hydro Power Stations, with beautiful views down the valley of many rivers. These include the Dee, Ouse, Derwent, Broad and Repulse, all now harnessed to the Hydro Power Schemes. Accessed from the Lyell Highway near Ouse, this lake provides trout fishermen with excellent opportunities to fish. The area is mainly used for boating, however you can also fish from the shore using grubs or worms. The camping areas are basic with no facilities, so be aware you will need to be fully self sufficient with campsites located amongst the pine plantations.
