Camping at Lake St Clair is provided by a private operator, however please note that National Park Fees still apply. The camping sites overlook Lake St Clair with both powered and unpowered sites offering shelter from the sun and wind by native trees. Camping amenities at Lake St Clair include guest laundry and shower facilities. You also have access to the Lakeside bar, cafe and bistro. The on-site store is also stocked with groceries, toiletries, cold drinks, souvenirs, basic camping and fishing equipment. Powered and un-powered sites available. Campers, please note that if booking un-powered sites, due to the Wilderness protection measures of this area, these sites have not been levelled so uneven ground can be expected. Bushwalks in the Lake St Clair area are plentiful, and range from easy to multi-day. You can take a quick walk from the visitor centre to several overnight or longer options. Lake St Clair is also the end point (Southern end) of the famous Overland Track, a long-distance walk which runs from Cradle Mountain in the north to Cynthia Bay at Lake St Clair.
