THIS CAMPGROUND IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED (June 2023)

This is a small campground, Albatross Campground Meander, near Meander Falls, close to Deloraine in Northern Tasmania and that is best suited to access by a 4WD when camping with a small camper trailer or rooftop tent. Due to the nature of the road, it is not suitable for caravans or motorhomes. Camping in tents is permitted. There is no charge to camp at the Albatross Campground Meander. There is no telephone reception a this location. Trout fishing is an option in Huntsman's Lake (license required for anyone 14 years and over). NO DOGS ALLOWED. The road in tot he campground is gravel but reasonable with great new bridges, just take it slowly especially at dawn and dusk with animals abundant. There are NO facilities at the Albatross Campground Meander meaning you must be fully self-sufficient. Please kept the campground clean and tidy and remove all rubbish.
