The Esperance camping area is located almost 8 kilometres along
Esperance River Road. This road is signposted from the A6 highway,
app. 4 kilometres south of the Dover Hotel.
Tent based camping is allowed on the north side of the Esperance River.
You must carry your gear from the carpark to the grassed camping area. This camping area does contain facilities.
It is possible to camp in this aea with your campervan, carvan or camper trailer in a nearby grassed clearing.
Note, water from the nearby river should be boiled before drinking.
Be prepared when camping in this area. In all seasons there can be snow, high rainfall, extremes of temperature, strong winds and sudden weather changes.
