Camping at the Longley Hotel is informal but visitor-friendly for up to 2-nights for fully self-contained vehicles. There’s no official camping fee, however visitors are encouraged to to support the pub by enjoying a meal or drink during their stay as a way to thank the hosts and enjoy the local hospitality – national and international musical acts are a regular feature at the Longley Hotel.
The camping area is a gravel carpark and green space opposite the hotel near the river, that is pet-friendly. Picnic tables and rubbish bins are also available, making it a comfortable rest stop for up to 2-nights.
Before settling in, you must register at the pub. Go inside and let the staff know you’re wishing to stay overnight, and they’ll give you a slip of paper to display on your dashboard as a way of letting the hotel keep track of campers.
