Repulse Dam Camping Ouse fishing central highlands

The Cluny Dam is located from the A10 Highway, 21 kilometres south of Wayatinah Road, which is some .5 kilometres north of Ouse. Take the right turn onto the C606. Travel a further 5 kilometres then turn left and drive for a further 1.5 kilometres to reach the Cluny Dam boat ramp. Here you will find the picnic, and basic camping area. To access Repulse Dam, go back to the intersection and continue straight on for a distance of 1.5 kilometres to the picnic area. Here you will find a nice grassed area beside the road that has a fireplace and rubbish bins. A little further on you will find a second grassy area also suitable for camping. Please note, camping is only allowed in designated areas and there are no facilities. To camp in this area, you must be fully self sufficient.

Accessible from A10, Lyell Highway.

Accessed from the Lyell Highway near Ouse, this lake provides trout fishermen with excellent opportunities to fish. The area is mainly used for boating, however you can also fish from the shore using grubs or worms. The camping areas are basic with no facilities, so be aware you will need to be fully self sufficient.
