Mole Creek camping ground is located at Mole Creek, app. 23
kilometres west of the larger town of Deloraine and on the B12
Road. Mole Creek is a popular base to explore a number of activities
in this region such as bushwalking, caving, fishing and rockclimbing.
The King Solomon Caves and Marakoopa Caves are popular tourist
attractions in this region. Mole Creek is a small rural town
with a population of app. 300 people.
The camping area at Mole Creek offers 20 camp sites and
20 powered sites with laundry facilities. It is a flat area
beside Sassafras Creek and completely grassed with fires allowed
along the creek-side (fire warnings permitting). The Mole Creek
camping area is pet friendly, however pets must be kept under
control at all times. Suitable caravans, campervans, motorhomes.
To access the campground at Mole Creek, take the signposted
access at the Juntion of the C137 and B12 roads, app, 3 kilometres
west of Mole Creek.
This campsite is located by a small creek and offers coin
operated hot showers. Firewood is supplied by note that fires are only allowed near the creek.
